Ire - What Seed, What Root? LP
These are the last recordings of another monster band from Canada. I wasn't that much a fan of their music before I heard this stuff. They've been pretty heavy and slow all the time, but this is the shit. Due to the fact that they added some up-tempo-parts and the song structures became more "catchy". 30 minutes of pure depressive sounds, heavy guitars, throaty vocals without sounding Death Metal. Brian/Catharsis wished the record after "Enemy of the Sun" by NEUROSIS would have sounded like this. I guess you got what's going on here.
