Crowpath - selftitled 7"
While on tour with my band in Sweden we played a show in Malmö - the hometown of CROWPATH. A young guy approached me and gave me a CDR of his bands new recordings. I have heard their split 7" before, but it was more or less just ok - nothing special...The next day I'd put on the little silver plate and what the fuck! Expect a sick bastard mix between DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, COALESCE and the heavy parts of CONVERGE. These guys know how to handle their instruments and pumped out some abstract songs others are day dreaming about the whole time, but never put them into practice. 4 songs that hit hard if you dig complex and off beat shit - at least up to my standards.
